I have been a web developer since 1998, when I created my first web site, MyHumor.org. At the time, I was the webmaster at Waxahachie High School, where I was a Spanish teacher. I enjoyed the creative aspect and challenge of web programming and decided to work on the Web full-time in the summer of 2000, when I joined a small web development company in Fort Worth, Texas, called Arkéo.
Over the past 10 years, I have had the privilege of learning a lot about web design, development and marketing and have had the pleasure of working with a lot of great people at various companies in the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex. I currently live in Fort Worth with my family and provide Web services and consulting for small businesses in the area.
Current sites include the following:
- Stoltz Image Consultants – Image consulting professionals who offer image consulting services and image consultant training
- Health Industry Council of the Dallas / Fort Worth Region – serving the needs of health industry and healthcare companies in North Texas.
- Live Green Longer – Earl Williams, the green remodeler, specializing in promoting energy efficiency and environmental responsibility within the constraints of marketable and affordable building technology
- Integrated Health Algorithms (IHA) – pharmacists helping patients complete complex drug therapies and maintain wellness
- Fun Family Fotos – a children’s sports and event photography company in the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex
- PrintMyScrapbook – a digital scrapbook page printing service, offering custom-sized photographic prints, including 8×8, 8.5×11 and 12×12
I also have a company called MinistryWebs, that serves the web service and promotion needs of churches, missionaries and other ministries. Current ministry web sites by MinistryWebs include the following:
- Pentecostals & Charistmatics for Peace & Justice – a Christian peace and justice network, working within their own traditions and heritages to promote the peace and justice of Christ
- Don Thorsen – Professor and author of The Wesleyan Quadrilateral
- The Matthew 5:21 Project – an organization promoting “talk it out, reduce nukes“
- Mike and Anita James – Missionaries to The Netherlands
- Prayer Walk Guides – Beijing, a guide to prayerwalking in Beijing, China, more to follow soon
- Don & Cyndie Jeter – Missionaries to Spain
- Paul Alexander – director of the D.Min. program in the Haggard Graduate School of Theology at Azusa Pacific University (Azusa, CA).
- Brian and Ruthie Gomez – Missionaries to Spain
My hobby sites are sites that I just do for fun or because I like the content. The main site in this category is my clean humor site, which was the first site I created.
